Interlocking Pvc Non Glue Wood Grain Vinyl

Interlock Vinyl Plank Flooring – A floating floor is a series of interlocking planks, which can be installed on top of any pre-existing floor, without carpet. The process is faster than the traditional wooden floor installation since the courses of planks are stuck together instead of nailed. A thin sheet of poly or foam base layer is located between the old floor and the previous floating boards, acting as a cushion of the shock absorber and noise.

Before installing a floating floor, make sure that the subfloor is level so that the sheets can act together correctly. Cut out the bottom of all door linings with a dovetail flush cutting saw so that the floor boards can slide underneath. Determine the height of each cut by placing a piece of the floor down on a foam covering section. Keep the dovetail saw flat against the lowes vinyl flooring while cutting.

Empty the entire floor of the room thoroughly and unroll a single layer of the bottom layer of foam. Trim off any excess with a utility knife, butt seams together and seal these joints with tape. Place 5/16-inch spacers along the start wall. Put the first board in place with the slotted end in the corner and pressed against a 5/16 inch spacer block. Confront the tongues of the shaw vinyl plank flooring to the outside with the ends cut against the wall while the ground is established.
